NELP is the New England Literature Program. Dan, you should ask Danja about it sometime-- he went on it when he was at U of M. It's basically two months of camping in New England, reading NE authors, plus hiking, canoeing, and all-around nature-ing. I've wanted to participate since tenth grade, and my plans for this summer revolved around getting accepted. So I got all panicked. Don't worry, I feel much better now. And I'm on the wait-list, so I suppose anything's possible.
