grammargirl | DVD Addendum

So after a late-night tech-geek consultation with

penguinboi, we've determined that I'm going to need either an image stabilizer or an rf modulator to get my DVD player to work right.

Does anyone have either or both of those things that I could very briefly borrow, just to see if they'll work? Best Buy's the only place around here that has this stuff, and they can be a bitch about returns. I want to make sure that whatever gadget I get will actually work before I spend the money, you know? I don't need those exact models, just something that serves the same function.
