Feb. 4th, 2002 08:19 pmOkay, I've tried to update at least twice since Friday. First I got interrupted by boss-lady actually expecting me to do work instead of getting paid to sit around and goof off with Matt and write a journal update (go figure!), then I couldn't get the stupid Pheonix program to work... so now I'm resorting to good old-fashioned updating directly from the web. Oh goody. Not that you care about any of this, but I'm in a pretty babbly mood so you'll just have to bear with me.
I ended up having a really productive weekend and getting lots of work done, but as a result I didn't do anything terrifically exciting. Happy Gillmore with Em and Mags on Friday was about the highlight of the weekend.
Jason's back, as is Amanda. I talked to him last night for the first time since Wednesday. Amanda's with him in Columbus now, though she'll probably be leaving again within the week, and is recovering from whatever tropical illness she caught in Africa. I told Jason I still want to visit him over spring break. The long weekend I had to think things over helped a lot, I think, and I feel a lot better about everything.
I have a date on Saturday with Matt the library guy. We'll see how that goes. Anyone who'll buy two tickets to see Dar Williams (who he hadn't even heard of until I played a couple of her songs for him last week) on the off-chance that I'll go with him can't be all bad, right? Anyway, we're going to Gratzi, a place with such good food I'd probably go with Satan if he offered to pay.
I spent some QT this evening with Matt (other Matt, Matt the Frat Boy) instead of doing homework, and I have a paper to write and an informal presentation to plan. So I better get to it.
