Dec. 23rd, 2002 04:14 pmI've decided to stave off the boredom for as long as possible by spreading out my few chores/responsibilities/etc. over a longish timespan. So today, I (finally!) finished the spreadsheet for research-assistant lady, and I'm about to go dig up an AOL CD somewhere so I don't have to make a long-distance call every time I want to get online. After that, if I'm feeling particularly ambitious, I'll head over to Michael's for some yarn and big chunky knitting needles-- I retought myself how to knit last night at about 2AM, in the interest of finding myself a project that will take up more time than crocheting.
Some time over the next several days, I need to:
*Get a very overdue oil change
*Buy and mail someone the Christmas present I promised her
*Write a letter
*Do laundry. Lots and lots of laundry
The funny thing is, two weeks (or less) into the new semester, this almost complete lack of anything to do will seem like heaven. Right now, though, I'm about ready to tear my hair out. 6-8 page papers are beginning to seem like an interesting way to while away an evening.
I really need to remain a student for as long as humanly possible. The real world might just kill me.
