grammargirl: (Death)
My top friends page goes all the way back to 2:00 this afternoon. That never happens.

Um. The most exciting thing that happened today was that I bought a rubber chicken keychain from ebay for $3.25 including shipping. It looks just like the one I originally bought at the awesomest toy store ever in Stratford, Ontario and carried around through five years and two backpacks.

I also finished All God's Children (book I need to write a short paper on for Criminology next week), watched a lot of Austin Powers and some of Apocalypse Now Redux, ate some toast, reread my LJ archives from July and August, and got absolutely no writing done.

*sigh*

Sometimes I really hate my sad little life. I mean, okay, at least I don't have black lung. Things could be so much worse.

But they could also be so, so much better, and it bothers me that I don't seem to have the energy to make that happen.

P.S.

Does anyone have a copy of Bowling For Columbine I could borrow for a few days? I have to write a paper on it for next week, but I haven't seen it since it came out and by the time I get around to writing the dumb thing at the last second, all the rental copies will probably be gone to the other 200+ people in the class. Plus, I have moral objections to forking over any more money for Criminology. I hate that class so much.

(02:30) sylvyrmoon: I need to watch High Fidelity again.
(02:30) sylvyrmoon: I'm having a very Rob Gordon day.
(02:31) sylvyrmoon: I need to have "We hate the world and are going to die alone" sex with someone.

*sigh*

Just posting to break the friends page monotony at this point.

Fuck.

I have to write at least ten pages a night, every night between now and Wednesday to get everything done on time.

I have about 3/4 of a page for today, including footnotes.

I have also apparently forgotten how to write.

Totally. Screwed.
