Thanks giving

Oops, I almost forgot my annual tradition! I'm glad I remembered, because I have an awful lot to be thankful for this year.

Things for which I am thankful: a list

• My mom
• My crazy, needy, wonderful lovemonster of a kitty
• Friends, old and new
• My tiny, perfect apartment that's all mine (not that I've been spending much time there lately)
• The reason I haven't been spending much time in my apartment lately *cough*
• Wonderful job, wonderful boss, reasonable salary, all at once!
• Knit night and the fantastic ladies therein
• After two and a half years of living in New York, I can say without hesitation that it's home
• Noise-canceling headphones? Best birthday present ever. Seriously, they make my life quantitatively more pleasant.
• Weekly (or biweekly, or whenever our schedules mesh) Dexter dates--serial killers and cupcakes/cookies/ice cream/pancakes for the win!
• The opportunity to spend Thanksgiving with exactly the people I want to spend it with
