Look, kids, it's procrastination-tastic!
Jan. 24th, 2004 06:59 pmI was getting so antsy to get the Belle and Sebastian CD Dear Catastrophe Waitress that finally I gave up and downloaded the thing from Acquisition. And oh man, it's fantastic. I'm such a good little music snob in training.
I've been having some really interesting Friendster encounters recently. I just contributed a "chapter" or whatever to the How We Met thread I posted about earlier, and in recent developments a crazy socialist who I think is a friend of Aubrey's friend Sravya asked me today if I want to get coffee and go see the symphony next week. I had to turn him down--next Friday is
symphy-time--but still, how often do you get asked out by crazy socialists? I'm kinda intrigued now. :)
My brain has been telling my butt to get up and go to the fishbowl for a good two hours now, and still my butt refuses to listen. No one's online, Aubrey's at work, there's no good TV on and I don't have anything interesting to read, and yet I continue to sit here. This stupid brain freeze has GOT to end. It makes the baby Jesus cry.
Clean laundry and new thrift store/Haley's closet clothes, however, make the baby Jesus very happy indeed.
Which reminds me,
mathforlovers, your pics are posted and can be found thisaway.
In other news, Strong Bad talks about grammar, yo. Click on the little muscle-y arm next to "Strong Badia" on the sign at the end, and you'll get to hear several different songs in which Strong Bad sings about grammar. Awesome. Thanks to
dandanar for the link, and the doritos when I came by his room starving this afternoon.
And now, I must... go... to... the Fishbowl!
*thunk*
