Things I get to do now that the Paper That Would Not Die is officially dead

*Clean my room
*Put away the laundry that I did a week ago
*Go grocery shopping
*Buy blank CDs and burn stuff to send to raptorgirl and echo_eriol
*Help Aubs clean the horrendously messy kitchen
*Finally see the friends I've missed all week because I was in exile: symphy, Becca, Amy, Eriko, Sam the Music Snob, Matt the Frat Boy (dear lord, I haven't seen Matt since before Halloween...), adam_oddfellow
*Go to mathforlovers's Vegan dinner party
*Call my mom. Poor thing must think I've been eaten by wolves or something¹
*Buy myself a new toy. After this week I deserve it, dammit.
*Give some serious attention to my poor neglected thesis

It's funny how pleasurable boring errands seem right now. I think I'm actually looking forward to hanging up my laundry. Weird.

¹EDIT: So I talked to my mom and it turns out that my grandmother's trust is going to be distributed within, like, the next few weeks. Holy shit, that means that I could have my precious precious laptop in my hot little hands by Spring freaking Break. I cannot even tell you how exciting it would be to be able to finish my thesis without being chained to the computer lab. And the prospect of an 80 gig hard drive... oh man. I I'll be able to keep all of my music on my computer instead of running to the Fishbowl every time I want to add a CD to my iPod. I'll be able to keep as many pictures as I want on there without having to worry about running out of space. I'll be able to do data backup onto CD. I will ba able, should I so desire, to watch a DVD and talk to people on AIM while sitting in a coffee shop. *drooool* Damn, this day just keeps getting better.

Actually, that reminds me I gotta give my roommate to give me the mailbox key. We've only got one right now, and she never EVER checks the mail. It's possible that your CD's been sitting there for days. I'll get the key from her tonight and let you know. :)
