So I just checked Wolverine access to find out what grade I got for the Incomplete I made up at the beginning of this semester, and discovered that I now have an ILE-- "Incomplete Lapsed to E" on my transcript.

This is very, very bad.

Now, I did all the work and turned it in by the deadline, and even though it was not by any stretch of the imagination the best paper I've ever written, it certainly did not deserve an E. A C, fine, that I could accept, but people don't get failing grades here unless they don't do the work or write their final paper in crayon or something. My guess is that my professor just didn't submit my grade by the deadline so it automatically lapsed to an E, and I've sent an e-mail trying to clarify the situation.

Still, though, if it's real, if it stays on my transcript... that fucks up a lot of stuff that I cannot afford to have fucked up right now.

I should be studying for my Witchcraft exam tomorrow, but I think I'm going to go have a mini meltdown instead.

Ack... it sounds like that must be scary :( Hopefully your prof will be able to clear things up for you... if you handed something in I don't see how you could have an E. Good luck with everything

Take it easy. It sounds like this wasn't your fault, which means that, so long as you are willing to suffer through no small amount of long lines and red tape, you ought to be able to work this out.
