So I've been sort of half-watching the CSPAN-2 coverage of the debates over the Federal Marriage Act. And Orin Hatch is somehow trying to claim that a constitutional amendment barring gay marriage would expand rights rather than limit them. Um, I'm sorry, did I fall asleep and wake up in OppositeLand?

Also, he keeps using the word "Activist" like it's a pejorative term.
