reves_rouges in an internet cafe in Times Square, all of my luggage in tow.
My back hurts a lot, but I am SO happy to be in this city again that I don't even care.
Oh, and how's this for ridiculous: after FINALLY meeting Haley's boyfriend Curtis (it's only been nine months... :P), about whom more later, but rest assured that Haley has just the fantastic taste in boys that I always suspected, he got us on the A train, transferred to the L train, then gave me directions how to make my merry way to Union Square and vanished to, well, spend time with his girlfriend for the first time in two months. I found my way to the Union Square Barnes Noble with no difficulty, met up withreves_rouges after a bit and went to get food at this nice little diner with a fantastically entertaining menu... and then as we were wandering off in search of a place to check e-mail, who should we bump into in the biggest city in the country but Haley and Curtis, wandering about aimlessly after their own dinner.
