grammargirlI'm supposed to be writing a paper right now. Two, actually, but the one I'm worried about is on Salinger's Franny and Zooey or "A Perfect Day for Bananafish" or both. You need to understand that Franny and Zooey is one of my favorite books of all time. It's almost too close to my heart to write about, and I almost feel like analysis would be an intrusion in a way that I wouldn't care about in other books. So I suppose I'll end up writing about "A Perect Day for Bananafish," a story that's just rife with stuff to write about. If only I could get started. The fact that it's 8:35 and I haven't yet eaten dinner probably isn't helping, but it's sort of too late for that now. Sigh. Time to get to work, I guess. Wish me luck.
