Just got into a car accident that was genuinely and utterly not my fault-- I was driving home along a long stretch of blinking yellow lights, and this girl was driving perpendicular to me and had a blinking red, but she didn't wait for me to cross like she should have because she thought I also had a blinking red. Anyway, I saw her pulling through her light in time to slam on my brakes, but not in time to keep from whacking into the side of her car. She was super apologetic, freely admitted that it was all her fault, and offered to exchange insurance info and/or pay me money for the damage, but we were both fine and my already beat-up car only suffered a couple minor scratches to add to the collection, and quite frankly it was 2:30 in the morning and I didn't care all that much.
Of course, now I have the adrenaline headache of death and I have to wake up and babysit a toddler in about 6 hours, but such is life. As far as car accidents go, this one was pretty painless.
