More whininess ahead. Sorry, it's that time of year.

Wanna know something depressing? Of course you do.

Read on penguinboi's LJ about the Mayfly Project: the life of a mayfly can be summed up in four words - "Born. Eat. Shag. Die." The Mayfly Project asks you to sum up the last year of your life in 20 words or less.

So here we go:

Discovered PCAP. Fell for a guy I couldn't have. Wrote a lot. Tried to have sex. Felt sorry for myself.

20 words exactly. Woofrickinhoo.

There's something about coming home from a reading party after stopping at Borders to pick up the one Christmas present I'm buying this year (a gift card, for my mom) and heating up a frozen dinner for myself that's just... awful, in some sad little way. There has to be more than this.

I really hate this time of year.

I'm not climbing the walls like I thought I would be. I'm just... listless, is the word penguinboi used (yeah, that's twice in one entry. Bite me.). Sick of waiting for things to improve, but unwilling or unable to help the process along.

Mostly I'm just tired of being alone. As always.

Some things never change, I guess.
