My two-year LJversary is a week from today. I'm using it as an excuse to do a little LJ-related housecleaning--trimming my friends list of people who never update, those I've found myself skimming recently, and a couple people I just plain don't (or shouldn't) read anymore. Anyway, if you've been cut, no hard feelings. I'm sure you're all lovely people, but there are only so many hours in the day, you know? Feel free to continue reading me or defriend me back; I don't really mind either way.

I've also added a couple people I've found while browsing through communities and friends' friends lists and whatnot. So hi to jenandtonics and belisima, and welcome to the insanity!

Anyway, I'll probably be adding and removing people on and off throughout the next week or so. I'll try to leave introductory comments to those of you I add, but I am notoriously bad about commenting on people's LJs, so if I forget I apologize in advance.

Who says my hometown doesn't have anything going for it? It may be a wretched suburb with a pornographic I-75 exit and a horribly overpriced and pretentious mall, but it's also home to teenagers who have come up with new and creative ways of insulting fat people.
