Wow. The combination of the Route 12 trip and two different road trips to Maine and back really got me through more states than I'd realized. Weirdly, I have no memory whatsoever of ever being in Idaho, though we must have driven through at least the tip to get from Montana to Washington. Now I just have to get my ass to California, the one place in the U.S. I've never been and am dying to see--though I wouldn't mind seeing more of the southern half of the country in general. Road trip this summer, anyone?
