Things I have to remove from my bed before I can sleep in it tonight:

*Coat
*iPod
*Fleece top
*Gloves

*"don't bug me" shirt I wore yesterday
*Matching pink underwear I also wore yesterday

*Laundry basket containing clothes I de-chocolate-ified more than a week ago
*Box of Crayola markers

*Book for my Witchcraft class that I have yet to open, entitled Witchcraft at Salem
*A book called Ulysses Annotated that is considerably bigger than Ulysses itself

I'm sorry, did you say you're taking a Witchcraft class?

Tell me more...

Hate to disappoint, but I promise that the Witchcraft class is SO much less interesting than you think it is. The full title is actually The History of Witchcraft, and it focuses on the Salem outbreak, and somehow my professor takes a subject that could be fantastically interesting and turns it into the most boring series of monotone, coma-inducing lectures you could possibly imagine. It's sad, really-- before we left for break, she was talking about these images from mideival Europe in which witches were pictured having sex with half-animal, half-demon hybrids, and she managed to make that boring, too. I bet we could win wars with that kind of talent to bore an audience to tears, seriously.

Ha! Very amusing list. I usually have a similar assortment of things on my bed. Once, when I'd just moved into a tiny efficiency, I would move several boxes off my bed at night, and move them back onto the bed in the morning. And that went on for a ridiculously long amount of time.

I don't need a husband, I need a wife.
