I didn't save to my IFS space last night, just to the local desktop, which gets wiped after you log out.

About 7 hours of revisions are gone. Completely gone.

I was up until 6 in the morning, and everything's gone.

I just... cannot even deal with this.

Do double check to see if revisions are really truly gone. If that's the case, then let it go and move on.

It's not seven hours lost. You've already made the revisions once. They're much faster the second time around.

Believe me, I know. I speak from MUCH experience in the "Oh Fuck I Lost EVERYTHING" Department.

woa. I can barely imagine that frustration. I've lost whole papers before, but never anything as important as a thesis. At least . . . well, they were only revisions, like your advisor said. Will you e-mail me the finished version? I'd really like to read it.

Anyway, at least its all behind you now. The year has almost passed.

If I make it back in may, I'll buy you a retrospective drink, ok
