Woooo!

I'll be at the grad library doing what looks like fairly excruciating proofreading of... err... HTML transcriptions of scans of microforms of Renaissance-era texts, if I recall correctly. But what the heck do I care, it pays $11.50 (maybe it was $11.45? Something like that.) an hour, the schedule is obscenely flexible, and I get to work with [livejournal.com profile] quixoticdancer, for a few months at least. And let us not forget: No uniforms. No idiots. No cash registers.

Congratulations!

That sort of proofreading actually more fun than excruciating to me. Hrm. ( :

Having really old literature on the internet always troubles me. It seems unnatural. Or it could be like that episode of Buffy where Willow scans a demon into the Internet.
