Somehow I managed to forget, what with the getting stoned and the happy-making back rub and all, that Spider-Man 2 opened at midnight last night. Bad nerd, bad! If anyone's interested in joining me at any showing after about 7:00 tonight, do let me know.

It's amazing how quickly I adjusted to the dead quiet environment so prevalent at work--generally speaking, we don't talk much here unless we have a question or whatever, or unless [livejournal.com profile] quixoticdancer and I are distracting each other or someone's family member calls. Today some guy stopped in who, I gather, worked here some time ago, and all the full-time people were gathering around and laughing and gossiping and whatnot, and it was all I could do to not bury myself in my headphones and hide from the suddenly painful sound of people (gasp) talking to one another. I swear, I need to get a babysitting gig or something before I turn into a total hermit.

Speaking of work: My roommate finally got a job! Woooo, I say! She'll be working in a shoe store (at which she now gets a 40% discount, bwahaha!), which is hardly the most exciting job ever, but as she's been frantically searching for a job since graduation, we're both all sorts of pleased that she finally found something.

And because I am, once again, bored at work and in need of distraction, a meme:

This is the problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.
