This is one of the most angry-making articles I have read in a long, long time:

Yeah, let's refuse women the Pill on "moral" grounds and then deny those same women prenatal and childcare. Let's claim that the Pill prevents a fertilized egg from embedding in the uterine lining (a claim which is, by the way, completely speculative) and thus amounts to "chemical abortion" (um, what?), all the while ignoring the fact that many women, myself included until recently, don't use the pill as contraception at all, but as relief for otherwise debilitating menstrual cramps.

Yeah. Brilliant fuckin' idea.

What really irks me about anti-abortion groups, and this whole affair in general, is that it's as though no one taught these people that their rights end at the other person's nose. They're butting in to something that doesn't concern them. And these are the same people, mind you, who argue that people under 18 are minors and thus don't really have rights. Would a fetus not count as someone under 18 in their eyes?

Odd how a nation that boasts being the best and most free place on earth is one of the most conservative and constricting.
