I'M so upset about this. I read like half of her books in 6th and 7th grade.

Most favoritest author when I was growing up, and I still reread the books everytime I manage to scavenge a new used one for the collection. She led a full life, actively volunteering at the cathedral featured in The Young Unicorns.

I just caught up to this. I'm so sad, too. Was just talking to someone last night about "A Wrinkle in Time." I loved the Austin family novels especially (probably 'cause I'm less a fantasy/scifi geek than I am a literature geek). "A Ring of Endless Light" is one of my all-time adolescent faves. I think I read it like 100 times. I was obsessed with it.

We haven't met in real life, but I'm Liz!
