Beauty of the moment

First real snow of the winter mostly happened while I was at work. I left the library at midnight and everything was frosted with a perfect layer of white. The law quad is beautiful anyway, but with snow it's just... incredible. Someone had made a snowman in the law quad. I found that oddly comforting, that even Serious Hard Working University of Michigan Law Students can still find time to make snowmen after the first big fall of the year. Walking back to East Quad, I found a snow angel someone had left behind like a gift for me.

There are people playing in the snow outside my window right now. I kind of wish I cold join them but somebody needs me, which is ok too.
