Aug. 11th, 2002 05:11 pmSo. It just hit me that I'm moving out of my summer apartment a week from Wednesday. Once I move out, I'll be essentially homeless until I move into my new apartment on the 1st. I've just spent the past hour or so driving myself crazy trying to figure out how to work the greatest number of shifts during that time while spending as little money as possible on gas and parking... I'm not having much luck. I need someone who's good at math to make everything better.
In other news, Zac come over and hung out a couple nights ago with only a minimum of awkwardness, so that's all good. And Semi-Creepy MRI Guy e-mailed me on Friday to see if I was free on Saturday. I still can't figure out what to do about that whole fiasco. And what's with all the catcalls I keep getting from homeless guys lately? I don't get it.
I'm ready for the summer to be over, but not at all looking forward to the logistical nightmare that the end of summer will bring. The next two weeks are gonna be nuts. Makes me tired just thinking about it. On the up side, after tomorrow I will NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH MY SHITTY ENGLISH 240 CLASS EVER EVER AGAIN!! Yeah buddy.
Meantime, I'm going to go immerse myself in The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay while I still have time to engage in such frivolities as reading for fun.
Toodles.
