NELP rejected me. I don't know what I'm going to do this summer, I don't know what I'm going to do about anything. This semester sucks and it keeps getting worse. Something good needs to happen RIGHT NOW.

NELP is the New England Literature Program. Dan, you should ask Danja about it sometime-- he went on it when he was at U of M. It's basically two months of camping in New England, reading NE authors, plus hiking, canoeing, and all-around nature-ing. I've wanted to participate since tenth grade, and my plans for this summer revolved around getting accepted. So I got all panicked. Don't worry, I feel much better now. And I'm on the wait-list, so I suppose anything's possible.
